Marvel’s Victoria Alonso to receive HPA’s Charles S. Swartz Award

The Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) has announced that Victoria Alonso, producer and executive VP of production for Marvel Studios, will receive the organization’s 2018 Charles S. Swartz Award at the HPA Awards on November 15. The HPA Awards recognize creative artistry, innovation and engineering excellence, and the Charles S. VFX studio Atomic Fiction to be acquired by Deluxe’s Method

In Q3 of 2018, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group will acquire visual effects house Atomic Fiction, which has studios in Montreal and San Francisco. Atomic Fiction will join Deluxe’s Method Studios and take on its name.

Founded in 2010, Atomic Fiction is known for creating high-quality VFX in efficient ways, often employing the cloud in its workflows. Continue reading
